Working in partnership with parents

At Adventure Learning Childcare, the relationship we have with the parents of our children is very important to us.

To keep you regularly updated about your child's progress during their time at our nurseries, we provide:

  • Regular verbal and written updates about your child's development
  • A designated key-person who will monitor and support your child's learning development
  • A personal learning journal for your child where you will be able to see evidence of your child's learning development any time
  • A termly newsletter to keep you up to date with important dates, news at the nursery and our current learning activities
  • Summer family fun days and a Christmas party where parents can attend to meet other parents of children at the nursery

What do our parents think?

"Adventure Learning is an excellent nursery that I would definitely recommend to other parents.  The nursery has lots of activities and a large garden which the children love.....the staff were so caring and understanding, taking the time to get to know my son ad his individual needs.  Thanks to all of the nursery staff, my son's confidence has improved and he is now ready for big school."

"A big thank you to Manjit and her staff.  They are friendly, helpful and so patient with all the children there.  I'm so happy I chose this nursery for my son because he has already learned so much since going there and I would so recommend this nursery to all parents who need a trusting and friendly nursery.  Thank you again."

"Friendly nursery and staff who enjoy their jobs makes for a safe and nurturing environment for children.  I am given a detailed summary of my child's activities for the day, along with meal information and nap times.  I am told in advance to ensure items are sent with him suncream, wellington boots, coat) for various activities and I am really please at the amount of outdoors activities he is engaged in.  The nursery itself is a lovely, warm and friendly place with the children's collages and paintings on the walls, along with personal information such as birthdays.  The indoor play area has a variety of activities for the children and each time I collect my son he is engaged in a different activity.  The outdoor space is particularly impressive as it is so large and there are various different areas from gardening to a play frame and seated areas."
